1. Who specifically is this for, and will they actually see it?
2. Does this build trust, or does it just ask for something?
3. What's the one action I want them to take - and is that action easy?
If you can't answer all three clearly, the piece of marketing isn't ready. Simple as that.
Run your last five pieces of content through this right now. Most founders find that almost everything they're producing sits in step three - and steps one and two are barely touched. That imbalance is usually the entire explanation for why all the effort isn't producing the return you expected.
What We're Watching Right Now
AI is changing the brief - not replacing the thinking.
